Your mistake is assuming this game is built on reality, a 50.cal bullet to the face doesn’t kill you nor does a RPG explosion to your feet, their only incentive is profit, nobody gonna buy MW2 bundles, only HDR
Why can’t I just send in a predator drone equipped with AI to take out as many enemies as possible?
375 and 408 are more about retaining energy and accuracy at extreme ranges, but they both lack the sheer energy of 50 BMG in normal engagement ranges.
The reason would be for balance. But the real reason is because they are not ready to kick the HDR off the throne(more bundles to sell I guess). Anyone with basic math skills and/or game experience could tell you that the last round of sniper changes was going to do absolutely nothing to the meta. I mean, they took the victus and made it have the infinite one-shot(like it should) but then nerfed the hell out of the BV. Making it well below the HDR.
And then they barely buffed the Katt. Full well knowing that the small buff to BV wasn’t going to put it anywhere close to the HDR. And then the buff to the mcpr….like it should have the same dmg range as the imperium atleast.
Basically they don’t give two shits about balance. They only want to make money off skins. So we won’t get another meta sniper until a new one comes out most likely. God this company is such fucking garbage.
I’d rather have it have limited one-shot range than have them give it unlimited range and a 800m/s bullet velocity like the Victus XMR
