I had the teal one with pokemon blue and my friend had regular with pokemon red. We spent a week and got all 150 original pokemon. Link cable and all. We tried the IR but it realld dident want to work.

i got switch on a whim a few years ago and really liked it, lost it in a fire. switch 2 looks awesome

The gameboy was actually portable. Could take that thing anywhere in your pocket AND doesn’t look weird while you play it. Lasts hours and hours and can play forever as long as you have spare batteries.
The switch is “portable”. Can’t fit easily in your pocket and the battery life is garbage. Plus you look like a tool whipping that thing out at the airport.
