yes, when win12 is even shittierthan win11, which is very likely due to the shitflation downward spiral. it started with win8 and goes on and on…
ketchup1345
I kinda like windows 11. But I have never tried any other brand of OS, I’m not a fan of my dad’s MacOS. What’s Linux like?
Darth_Caesium
Nope. I don’t like any version of Windows past 7, and this was one of the reasons why I switched to Linux the moment I got myself a desktop.
Matura93
I want windows 7 back RAAAA
no_use_your_name
lol no, I mean imagine people longing for a return to vista
redneptun
I am done with Windows.
Nightly21
I hate windows 11 so hard, made me switch to Linux.
Sendflutespls
I have been through this nonsense 8 times now.
DkoyOctopus
if Win 12 is worse than 11, what am i supposed to do?
“go lunix go valve”
will my programs still work? adobe, unreal, blender, davincci, etc?
nullv
OP may be correct, but only on the the technicality of Win12 being even worse than Win11.
bobmlord1
There’s usually a clear delineation between hated and liked Windows versions.
I didn’t see anyone who disliked Vista, 8, or Edit: ME defending it when their much more well received successors were released and I don’t see that happening with 11 either.
InsertFloppy11
so now its a bad thing to prefer something thats less shitty?
just_a_bit_gay_
win12 will be worse so people will probably defend the remaining good parts of win11 that michaelsoft inevitably decides to fuck up to “innovate”
TGPhlegyas
I’ll do this gladly but honestly every other version of windows is usually pretty good so it’s probably 12 that we’ll defend.
DiamondWolf3393
I’m a Linux user.
NovaStorm93
he who cries ‘windows 11 is bad’ will continue to use windows 11
alexdiezg
Stop with the lies man! Remember the pattern!
XP – good
Vista – bad
7 – good
8 – bad
10 – good
11 – bad
So 12 will be good!
ProtonPi314
What’s wrong with 11?
I turn on my computer… double click the game I want to play or the browser and done.
zirky
hatred is the driving force to make windows suck less. every version since fucking vista has been a tire fire at launch. with sufficient hatred to becomes something palatable. what do you remember most about windows 8, the sadness or upgrading to janky ass windows 10 or the bullshit initial version that had a cellphone style single application focus? hatred made us forget
TheNamesRoodi
No, fuck windows 11, fuck windows 10, give me windows 7
Adrian_Alucard
Nah, it will be the same people who defended windows 8 when 10 released (nobody)
punio07
Win 8 was shit, no one defended it after Win 10 came out.
VoidJuiceConcentrate
I always thought that windows releases kinda acted on a tick/tock pattern.
For example: windows 3.x, many people loved it. Windows 95, kinda unstable, many firsts. Windows 98/98se, solid. Windows ME/2000, shit. XP, solid. Vista, shit. 7, solid. 8/8.1, shit. 10, solid/okay. 11, shit.
Though, breaking the cycle I think 12 is also gonna be shit since enshittification is hitting every bloated company with a virtual monopoly in their respective spaces.
SharpEdgeSoda
Not even.
MS has a genuine track record of every “Other” OS being trash in some way.
XP Vista 7 8 10 11
Good Bad Good Bad Good Bad
Now, I am not optimistic for Windows 12. AI’s a stage 4 cancer on all software going forward.
But if Windows 11 sells as bad as it seems to be, they might at least make an effort to make 12 something people that hate 11 want.
Pumciusz
No? I wasn’t defending 8/8.1 when I switched from 7 to 10.
Dewbs301
That tends to happen when company release new products that are worse than previous iterations.
Don’t blame it on the consumers
jermygod
The last good Windows was 3.1
Phaylz
Still better than “Have you tried Linux?” pills.
143Emanate34Elaborat
Two things can be right at the same time.
Windows 11 is not as good as Windows 11, and Windows 11 will be better than Windows 12.
Swallow that easy to take pill.
ZLEAP
Now here’s your hard to swallow pill: The next Windows always makes the previous Windows look better because Microsoft is on a mission to make Windows as shitty as possible with each new release.
Difficult_Chemist_46
Its so true. I hate windows since ever. And Nvidia, since no linux support. I use both. Fffffffff.
Walk-the-layout
Wrong, I shit on every windows OS
Farandrg
Yes, why? Because they keep making every version so bad that you don’t want to leave the previous one.
LouhiVega
Cuz the worst OS made by MS is always the next one
corvak
I use 11 but every day I am closer to just trying to game on Linux
Ground_Beef8905
can anyone explain why everyone hates windows 11? my gaming pc runs on windows 11 and i haven’t had any problems with it.
jakyp0o518
Am i weird for for not hateing a new version of windows. I switched to windows 11 as soon as it was available and have had zero issues
Connathon
I’m not kidding when I say this, reddit is 90% complainers. Complainers will always have something to complain about. People love to hate on things here
RogueCoon
I only defend every other windows version
nindza22
I don’t hate Win 11. I hate why they don’t allow it on the machines that can perfectly run it. I used it on first gen i7, it works flawlessly. Sometimes even faster than Win10. Wtf with 8+ gen?
While I’m being slapped over face for each plastic bag I use, they are sending billions of more than perfectly capable machines to landfill.
blackskies69
Windows Vista still is and was a piece of shit
Windows 8 still is and was a piece of shit.
Windows 11 still is and forever will be a piece of shit.
This isn’t the console wars this is a professional opinion. The OS is GARBAGE and Microsoft will hopefully fire anyone who thought burying every diagnostic tool behind layers of worthless UI, and then removing the tools that made Windows 10 so effective just further highlighting the stupidity of those involved was a good idea.
I have no doubt in my mind Windows 12 will be a piece of shit too because that is how Microsoft works. They release 2 iterations of pure trash and then occasionally they’ll listen to their customers and release something good. Here is to hoping 12 won’t be a complete piece of trash.
DerpysLegion
I still want windows 7 back
MrBanden
By that logic we all should have been defending windows 8 when 10 came out. I won’t be defending windows 11… I will have made the switch to Linux by that time.

Not me. I still hate win10 as well as 11.
No, fuck win11 i miss Win7
Are you saying it’s going to get worse?
Dear void, I hope not.
