Cyberdeck, Sandevistan, or Berserk? I personally find myself switching between Cyberdeck and Sandevistan on my play-througs, and I think I’ve only used a Berserk once.

    I like using tech weapons, so I tend to use chrome compressor. Sandy doesn’t really work with tech weapons. I don’t tend to invest in int at all unless I’m doing a dedicated hacker build, so a cyberdeck is out. And Berserk is useless with a ranged weapon build.

    So, Chrome Compressor gives me extra capacity with the only real downside being mitigated by the relative uselessness of the other OSs

    If I’m not using tech tho, I also tend to do a deck or a Sandy.

    Berserks are kinda rendered obsolete on a lot of builds by the fact that they can only work in melee combined with the fact that a lot of melee builds benefit more from a Sandy.

    Chrome Compressor. And beat the shit out of everyone with my bare hands usually.

  3. Depends entirely on the build and character I have decided to play…

    I change it up with each V, and I only expect to repeat on a cyberdeck (since my first cyberdeck was during v1.6).

    The Sandevistan, though a distinct advantage the Cyberdeck has is that all of them are viable with the right build, unlike the Sandevistan and Berserk where one is objectively better than the rest.

    Usually cyberdeck. But ive done a couple Sandy builds and those are super fun too.

    First it was the Berserk because I used blunt weapons often, then I tried Sandevistan and pretty much stuck with it.

    Depends on my build, honestly. Cyber decks enable netrunning, so if you plan to do any of that they’re good. Both Sandy and Cyberdeck are good for stealth depending on your playstyle. Any speed build Sandy would be good obvi, but if you’d rather armor attacks than dance around them get Body 15 at least, get the perk where adrenaline rush makes you immune to knockdown, and use blood pump right before you hit Berserk. You’re an invincible tank that never flinches, and for any sword or especially blunt weapon build it’s so satisfying

    Haven’t used Chrome Compressor but if I ever come up with a good build to use it I’ll try it out

    Usually Raven, but I need to play something else next run.

  10. What’s the one that just straight up boosts cyberware capacity at the cost of not being able to do any netrunner thing? I like that one

    Nomad – berserker

    Corpo – cyberdeck

    Street kid – sandevistan

    Favorite is probably corpo cyberdeck because I also run is as a stealth pistol build

    If{not (Tetratronich Rippler)}
    Then {(“Falcon Sandevistan”)}

    The raven cyberdeck cause I like spreading quick hacks.

    Cyberdecks for net runnin….

    It’s so much fun using memory wipe followed up with a cyber psychosis and watch the hi jinx ensue.

    Contagion than followed up with overheat is awesome as well.

    Lot of creativity with the hacks….

    Cyberdeck bc that’s the only one I use. And it’s just easy I guess.

  16. I dont have a primary one anymore. Every playthrough means a different OS.

    But I’d still say a cyberdeck is probably my most used just because its fun to incorporate quickhacking into other things. Berserk is much more restricted so its probably my least used one.

    I have yet to do a chrome compressor build though, will probably do that next.

    Sandy = Apogee

    Cyberdeck, as another attack option and stealth easyfier (is that even a word lol). The sandevistans are only really good when you get the iconics you can turn on at any charge level, and I run a kerenzikov and both its boosters with that implant that slows time when my detection hits 50% anyway, so it doesn’t fit in my playstyle. I already have multiple bullet time options, the sandy feels unnecessary. I tried the berserks too, but all it really did was making melee combat a bit shorter than what I do with my cyberdeck build.

    A sandy or a berserk is the head on approach, you’re matching the enemies’ cyberwear. With a cyberdeck I can just turn them off. A cyberdeck lets me counterhack and spread ultimate quickhacks on a whole enemy team if their netrunner dares to try hacking me. I can take over complete camera and turret systems, and mark every enemy before they even know I’m near, and then use the environment against them. A cyberdeck is more useful, not even a competition in my opinion. Now, I didn’t say I never slot a sandy for some late night gangoon massacres when I don’t feel like doing story stuff…

    Berserk all day everyday. Ramming into people with a hammer ragdolling them away then activating Berserk and start going apeshit on the nearest unfortunate maelstrom goons is just the best.

    cyberdeck for sure. the others are extremely fun but cyberdeck has so many possibilities, it really feels like something is missing from the game when i dont have one

  22. sacredknight327

    Cyberdeck and Sandevistan. I’ve never played a build using Berserk.

    Cyberdeck, it’s too much fun being a digital wizard.
