Can't help but notice there's no Valve, GOG/CDPR, or Larian on this list. Maybe consider this list next time you're about to press 'buy'.

    Hm… I wonder why /s

Also thank god gaben still prevents steam from joining the list

    Edit: spelling mistake
PS: this also isn’t here to blindly endorse Steam, if they start treating customers like shit they’ll also get the fork haha

  2. Norbluth

AAA gaming is REALLY getting in the way of video games these days.

  3. real_jonkler_persona

Sega? That’s surprising. The only online game from them that costs money is Team Sonic Racing, I think.

  4. Ekra_Fleetfoot

Well, time to update my shit list.

  5. Traditional-Storm-62

    – Netflix

bro thinks he’s on the team

  6. ExistingAd7929

Why am I not surprised at who’s on the list. Really shocked Ubisoft even made it, since they can’t even finish a game in the first place.

  7. Active_Literature539

Well, I guess we all know which companies we should be avoiding now.

  8. XeNoGeaR52

No Sandfall Interactive too. Weirdly, good publishers/developers that respect their customers and not corporate greed from shareholders are not on the list.
That says lots about video game industry

  9. outlaw1148

I’m actually curious why faceit/esl as far as I know they don’t make games.

  10. NoHospital1568

No way, corporations acting like corporations

  11. de4thqu3st

Riot Games doesn’t even have a game that would be affected, huh?

Edith: looked into it. F2P games with micro transaction would be affected to. But it doesn’t state to which extend. So I guess with Valorant a solution would be a P2P node with only custom game mode or server list

  12. beetsoupdotcom

Who the fuck is surprised by any of these names?

  13. MaffinLP

Its so sad to see riot on there especially since Id love modded private servers in valorant that would be so much fun

  14. PixelCortex

Would I be wrong to assume that a few of these companies don’t understand SKG and just oppose it blindly?

  15. PixelCortex

If you ever wanted a convenient list of the most predatory and immoral gaming studios and publishers.

  16. KitsuneKamiSama

Also pictured: List of the most anti-consumer game companies.

Maybe consider this list next time you’re about to press ‘buy’. – GTA 6 -> T2 Interactive.
Well all major publishers are there.

  18. Tail_sb

Wow Every Single Piece of Shit in the Industry is here

  19. Alidaboss42

Why is Faceit here? They don’t even make games

  20. CDPR and Larian… why highlight those two? What makes them special enough to be compared with industry giants such as EA, Roblox, and Blizzard. I dont see Paradox Interactive on the list? What about Naughty dogs?

A long list of much more relevant and many times, bigger companies could have easily helped to sell your point.

Rather than looking at who opposes, I find it much more interesting to look at those who hasn’t taken a stance.

Or are people really that naive, that think that just because a company isn’t on the list, then they must automatically be for SKG?…

  21. UndeadWaffle12

No way, you’re telling me that these big companies are opposed to something that goes against their own best interests? I’m shocked

  22. Big-Newspaper646

Oh cool look, a list of companies to stop buying anything from

  23. ![gif](giphy|2x4b4X7yUnmww)

Gaben Newell be like: “Not only do I support the movement, I make money off all these mfrs.”

  24. sorryimsoawesome

This is the list of companies on the membership page of the official site. But OP claiming they’re not supporting it? I’m so confused by this whole initiative.

  25. FormalIllustrator5

Lol Ubishit and EA evil corpo are here? I am in shock…

  26. Cassini_7

i think like SQ, Bandai, Sony mostly they are doing this is in western branch

  27. SirOakin

    I’m confused about Sega.

Up to now they seemed cool with emulators and the like

  28. BellyDancerUrgot

All bloated companies right at the end of the product development life cycle, the stage known as enshitification.

  29. Sacredfice

For some reason I knew the list for a long time already.

  30. Luch1nG4dor

Companies that keep killing games opposed to not killing games, more at 11

  31. OkPlastic5799

What’s the source? How exactly did they act against the petition?

  32. GregorSamsa112358

Hey look, it’s all the worst companies in gaming! Crazy

  33. metaltastic

Nintendo is no surprise you can’t even buy a used game with out risking bricking your console

  34. _Kami_sama_x

Is there an article or something that shows that this group is against that movement because I looked around the website and couldn’t find it

Never mind I found it: https://www.videogameseurope.eu/news/statement-on-stop-killing-games/

To be fair it just acknowledges the feasibility problems with live service games and allowing people to retain access and doesn’t outright dismiss every part of stop killing games but it also doesn’t expressly approve any other parts so they could have any opinion on that and I would assume companies would by in large, support the option that makes them spend less money

  35. HBreckel

While I’m not surprised Square Enix is on the list, they actually have been working on getting FF11 and FF14 in a position to where they’d be able to be enjoyed as offline single player experiences. So at the very least those games will be playable if their servers ever go offline. Just their mountain of failed mobile games aren’t so lucky.

  36. RiskyScapegoat

So… like.. everyone but valve and indies? Shocker..

  37. MetroSimulator

    Let’s all act surprised 😯

Like, they’re pretty obvious the reason for the petition

  38. yet another reason why steam gog cdpr and larian are goated as op said
