Streetkid, cause part of me was choosing a background similar to my own irl and it’s the only one that was closest. Also because it just felt like the correct choice for V to be from the streets of the city and not some corpo suit or out of town nomad.

Street Kid since that’s how I played my TTRPG characters back in the day, and I loved it. RP’d as a lost kid in search of a family and wound up with the Nomads. Next playthrough was Nomad, also awesome. Still haven’t done a Corpo run-through because my old TTRPG experience has conditioned me to hate corpos with the burning passion of a thousand white-hot suns (I know everyone says it’s peak tho)

i chose corpo because it’s the only one where you start from the top.. the other two you’re bottom rung..
for me, starting from the top, getting fired,, it instantly makes it personal.. you have a reason to hate arasaka the same way johnny does.. obviously i didn’t know all this when i picked up but i mean,, look at it, if i had to choose a path in life,, i’d obviously choose the one where i have power and influence!!
i appreciate what nomad and street kid are.. i’ve had playthroughs on all 3, but for me… i think corpo just makes sense,,
