Am I the only person that uses and enjoys all OSes?

Gotta get Denji to eat that Windows 11 devil.

Yeah I jumped on Windows 11 as soon as it came into early access insider builds. And I was liking it, then they started introducing more and more crap and I got slower and slower. Like the first release build Windows 11 only used 14 GB of my hard drive. Whereas Windows 10 was using over 32. But, windows 11 has caught up.

I’m almost ok with current version of w11, but i hate how much vram it takes for just working
illicITparameters
Been using it for 3yrs on multiple PCes with no problems.
Sounds like a skill issue.

I like windows 11… With some tweaks you can make it windows 10 but without the stupid card ads and design elements.
For dev work I find it has a nicer work flow for the smaller things like creating new file explorer instance by dragging out one of the tabs
bash1311
Humanity would be happier without the people complaining about win11
QueenBansScifi_
Upgraded recently, denied everything in the setup and bought StartAllBack and it’s cool, for some reason though games lag when I have them windowed and filling the screen, if I make the window smaller, use fullscreen or borderless it stops doing it, very weird

Only a few things I appreciate about windows 11. HDR is actually usable, and the tabs in file explorer. Burying settings so terribly that I have to keep a shortcut to control panel is not appreciated.

I like both war and windows 11

yeah it is the worst windows since the 95.

I’m not moving to something that is “somewhat” useable. I’ll stay on Windows 10 LTSC.

Is it normal to not be able to create a text document when right clicking the desktop on 11?
And i had to manually download paint lol

Windows 11: Spyware that comes with a complentary OS.

Fyi, a lot of ubisoft games are unable to launch on 24h2, still no fix patch, launch perfectly fine on 23h2

With Microsoft, you’re the product.

I’ve been installing windows versions for neigh on 30 years now. They have with few exceptions continually improved. There were weird decisions and shady stuff, but all in all they got better.
I’m tired boss. Every new version, every new feature patch people are whining.
I remember when these people complained about WinXP Service packs 1-3. Each one made XP better by miles. Still people complained. I wish I could just drown it out. Sigh.

The only thing i like more than windows 11 is windows 8

Man you know what was really fucking horrible? Windows Me. No version of Windows from Windows 2000 and on holds a candle to how shitty Windows Me was.

We would not be happier without death, I will die on that hill.

I reinstalled 23H2, turned off any further feature updates – life is good now.

Well without windows you’d have to use shitty heroic game launcher that barely launches a game
Windows finally decided to recognize my tvs HDR certificate yesterday. Now whenever I boot I have to turn on then back off Dolby Vision Pro or else I get this
gabacus_39
Windows 11 is perfectly fine. I’ve been running it on all my PC’s since it came out and I think it’s completely fine. It’s just windows. It’s a base for doing stuff on top of it.
Im certain these posts get created by Linux users who really want to expand their <5% user base. Lol.

Me with tiny10 os: whats 23H2??
xX_Thr0wnshade_Xx
I just don’t like how it auto enables VBS and you have to go into the registry to disable it. Still on 23h2 btw

Unpopular/uncommon opinion: Windows 8.1 was actually the best OS from the end of Win7 support (Jan. 2020) through its end of support (Jan. 2023). It was fast, had most of the behind-the-scenes improvements that Windows 10 is respected for, and very usable with a few UI extensions like Classic/OpenShell. Microsoft basically stopped messing with it once Windows 10 started shipping, so that was like 7+ years of consistent user experience.
Windows 11 has some pretty silly/needless UI changes such as centered taskbar buttons (so your start button moves around), rounded window corners (so the user doesn’t poke their eye out? makes finding the corner for resizing very difficult), lack of vertical taskbar alignment (very annoying for multi-monitor arrangements and low resolution displays).
In its favor, from a UI standpoint, I will give them no shortage of praise for FINALLY, after 35 years of existence, FINALLY adding a reasonable variety window snapping features to the basic OS.

No, windows 11 was somewhat usable when it was called Windows 10.
We definitely need death.
I really don’t have all this hate for 11. I don’t love it, but it’s perfectly useable.
If you feel this bad, go Linux. I have Linux on my 2nd rig (26 year Linux guy), and a Mac.
Linux>Windows>MacOS
Don’t forget Denuvo and vanguard
Nope, just stop whining for nothing. W11 is ok, as much as W10 was before its EOL.
Yeah, im staying on win10 until it no longer gets driver updates.
Without death the world would be a horrible place
I’ve gotta be the only person in the world that doesn’t have a problem with Win11.
Mom said its my turn to hate the latest Windows…
I read the hate about W11 for years and I have yet to encounter a single issue using it
People were the same with W10
When the next iteration is out everyone will suddenly be nostalgic for 11
It’s the same exhausting circus every time
Didn’t expect seeing Makima here.

What happened after 24H2? Works fine for me.
