Here is a CPU-Z snapshot of my frequency and timings. I have a Patriot Viper RGB DDR4 4133 16GB (2x8GB) C19 Kit. I run it at 3466MHz because I have an i9-12900k, its memory controller can only handle this much (at least for my specific processor, I'm sure some others can push far past the Intel 3200MHz Max DDR4 Frequency rating for the 12900k). Anyways, based on the snapshot shown, is this a solid overclock (should I tighten timings am I missing out on any performance out of this kit)? I can also show all Secondary and Tertiary timings if anyone would like me to. Also on AIDA 64 I get 52.3 ms latency on this kit with these timings.

    I have an older 8600k and I was able to get a 32GB Teamgroup kit OC’ed to 3500Mhz C16

    CL 15 would fail OCCT testing after 20hrs even after loosening timings

    Not sure what you’re asking, Memory OC takes a very long time. I run OCCT for 24hrs to verify stability before adjusting timings/frequency/voltage further. If you’ve already verified stability the first thing I would do i try to test 3500mhz stability because 3466mhz would bug with my OCD

    How much you can push the memory controller depends on its voltages too. Someone more familiar with Intel cpus can give you ideas or you can test it for yourself, there are two important voltages regarding this afaik. For stress testing IMC go with Y cruncher VT3. For stressing memory and timings I recommend Testmem5 0.13 with 1usmus/anta777 profile. First try shooting in your max clocks like this and then tune your timings for it. B-die can take a lot of voltage if its cooled enough. There are also way more timings than just primary which will net you a lot of extra performance. Trefi being one of them, its refresh interval so for that, more is better, but above 40-50k you want the memory to stay under 50 degrees Celsius under load.
