To be honest.. such is life in NC. Most of the legends lie in the Columbarium. The protagonist is always the city, and no matter what the conflicts are, the city wins in the end and life goes on.
All we can do is make sure the things of beauty they leave behind never fade away.

I think it’s clear that David’s story is meant to be a cautionary tale so him being dead dead makes sense in my opinion as much as I might’ve liked him, in the second half of the series he made a lot of bad decisions

Because they have the whole side quest of you tryna find >!David!< and having Idr who it was reach out and be like, yeah, they don’t wanna see you. But the way they talk makes it sound like >!he!< >!is!< >!alive!<, so it just confused the hell out of me when I encountered it in game.
