Help! I’ve been trying to do the shadows of evil easter egg with my brothers and a few of them are at a lower level so we don’t have upgraded swords until round 23.
We were trying the flag step but we keep failing. Does anyone have any tips on how to succeed on the flag step?

I’ve found that the Apothican Servant helped me a ton when I did it, but it’s worth noting I play solo so I don’t know how much changes with another player
Fear in headlights or death machine gg. Packed krm works pretty well. Remember to shoot the shadow man when he appears.
Apothican spam, fast shotguns (krm / brecci / haymaker), civil protector and lil arnies + flying swords. There’s also a way to stop many of their spawns by 2 od 3 players being in the pap arena while one player is running with the flag upstairs. They get stuck downstairs and it’s easy. Fear in headlights gobblegum makes it a piece of cake as well. I’d be down to help you on playstation unless it’s a full team already (4p are needed to reach the cutscene).
I recommend using fear in headlights if you have it. Also I would try and get either a haymaker or brecci cuz it makes it easier to kill the meatballs.
Pack a punched KRM one shots meat balls, make sure to have speed cola en double Tap, reload every 3 shots

fear in headlights or fatal contraption are great gobblegums to use.
If you don’t have gobblegums, the civil protector helps a ton. Just activate the closest one to the first flag. Apothican Servant and little Arnies are great, especially for the first two or so flags where max ammos are plentiful. Shoot the Shadowman to avoid bugs appearing, but focus on the meatballs first and foremost. Try to anticipate where they are coming from instead of letting them get to you. HVK and KRM are good guns for this step. Upgraded sword helps too.
