Hopefully this isn’t a sign, barely just bought my RX 6900 XT

EDIT: It’s an RX 6800 non XT. I forgot haha. Also for the curious: I bought it about a year ago dead for about 50 EUR. Attempted to fix it myself, but this was my back up plan anyway. Never got around to it untill now! Love the design of the card, and the box makes a great frame for it.

Damn, I’d have hoped such a capable and modern card would live longer, that’s a real shame. Great work commemorating its service with the display though! Your watch is over RX 6800 🫡

Recycle it. The materials are way too valuable to just be on display.

This looks pretty sweet, did you just measure and cut the glass yourself?

Should take the cooler off and polish up the gpu. Would be more interesting to look at than a few plastic fans.

The 6800 and 6900 suffered greatly from mining. Generally a bad idea to buy Nvidia 3000 or Radeon 6000 series used and the more attractive the price is – the more suspicious it is.

Finally years of saving boxes has come through

That’s pretty cool. I have some trays of 5995wx to do this to.

Oh but when I do it with my defunct wife I am “weird” and “overly possessive”

    EDIT: /jk
