Imo foldable laptops are stupid and should remain only as a show off

If it breaks just like that, it’s a bad design.

To be honest, foldable laptops like this just seem like a gimmick. Now, if you had a laptop that the whole inside was just screen and you had a keyboard that you could pop on the bottom half for when you wanted to type then that might be something useful – doubly so if you can fold it flat and turn it on it’s side to use as a large wide screen with the keyboard in front of it.

Foldable laptops seem like touch screen laptops, totally pointless. I remember looking for a laptop once and the store tried to sell me a more expensive laptop that also had a touch screen. They showed me how you can select the app screen and choose your apps, and bring up an onscreen keyboard for typing. I was like, and how is this better that the actual laptop keyboard and mouse???

    But laptops were already foldable…

Any laptop is foldable in any configuration if you’re strong enough.

Honestly I thought it was suppose to bend that way since the pixels look exactly like they all broke where the screen would meet the keyboard and then the top part folder over so it could double as a tablet.

Now I am in pain learning this is not the case

If its that easy to break its a bad design.
