Hey, recently I upgraded from 5800X3D to 9800X3D and tweaked my M-die kits, so far they are stable at settings i've chosen but I consider memory latency a bit too high – i helped by friend OC his 9800X3D and 64GB(2×32) 6000CL30 memory and he ended up with better latency than me(67ns), even though his secondary timings are worse than mine.

Please, share your knowledge with me – how can i drop latency to 66-69ns without increasing frequency?

My rig:
CPU – Ryzen 9800X3D
MOBO – B650 Gaming X AX V2
RAM – Corsair 32GB(2×16) 6000CL30 1.4V (m-die chips, checked in hwinfo)

Latest bios, latest Windows, all updates including chipset drivers are installed.

I tried testing latency in safe mode without any background applications, at best it reduced latency by 1-1.5 ns compared to default OS – any help is appreciated.
Memory stays under 50*C at such voltage even with high tREFI.

I’m not a specialist but as long as these are CL30, I don’t see how it could go faster without modifying the clock…

Is that vddp voltage on auto ? I have more latency and when running aida64 memory bus/cpu fsb downclock themselves a little bit when I have too low vddp. As for the core tuning setting I recommend using level 2, legacy just gets you some latency benefit in aida64 but level 2 is better in gaming.

71 is pretty low latency for that platform in all honesty

Give voltage 1.44v ma mem and 1.23v vsoc and fly lower with timing and fclk at 2000mhz
