I actually paid Ā£20 Netflix Premium just to see what 4K HDR Dolby Vision would look like.
My gear: Dolby Vision 4K OLED monitor, Windows Dolby Vision enabled, Gigabit internet, HEVC codec purchased and installed.
I opened up Squid Game Season 3
The video stream ended up like 1080p SDR, it’s definitely not 4K quality, and HDR was not enabled despite attempts to troubleshoot. Their video player doesn’t even have an option to change resolution to confirm it’s actually 4K.
Never paying for Netflix again.
