Oh I miss the pre 2.0 version of this Iconic. It was honestly so much better.

Oh boy, back in the day this thing was such a menace.
It could shoot through pretty much any wall, use ping hack and just start killing everyone through the walls.
iirc it was also used for hitting some of the highest damage numbers in the game.

Buzzsaw and Raiju will probably help you love tech weapons too.
On their own tech weapons are kinda mid. They don’t track enemies like smart weapons and they don’t hit as hard as power weapons. Their killer feature is the ability to shoot through walls/cover. If you get the perk that prevents them from firing automatically when they reach full charge they get significantly better in general. But if you don’t want to go down the perk tree & pick that one up, a good substitute is Buzzsaw or Raiju, which don’t need to charge to punch through walls. 🙂 (though I have on more than one occasion accidentally picked a fight with NCPD by hitting a cop that was behind a gangoon I was shooting at with Buzzsaw)
Nice, can you had a Silencer to it and will it still one Shot enemies?
I am using the Plan B pistol and it’s fine, but always looking for a better one Shotter in silencer mode.
I was never much of a fan of this gun but it’s not because it’s not good. I just prefer the Kenshin, Achillies, and Satara. That being said, thing is broken and could 1 shot pretty much anything.

I play on PS4 so I never got PL so this has been my main weapon in every play through just because this and a sandy can’t be beat
Same. I just came across this bad boy for the first time after hundreds of hours and had to switch up my whole life for it
The **real** power of comrade’s hammer is to have a katana and this on a motorcycle.
Charge up the pistol and shoot it directly at the ground while going fast and you can **ROCKET JUMP** your motorcycle. Gives you enough air to launch over the freeway edge walls and leap from interchange to interchange, VERY good for escaping chases or just doing dramatic motorcycle stunt combat.
Pair with the wheelie/stoppie keys to do flips, wall riding, etc.
Add bullet deflect to your katana for maximum action movie!

combined with the electromag recycler you become an absolute force of destruction
Which part of this bad boy is Tech because loading increasingly large and hot caliber into your pistol until it explodes is tale as old as time at this point.
Pre 2.0, this was the Win-Button.
And this is post NERF so imagine what it was like before that

This used to be the hardest hitting weapon in the game.
Just like Lizzie used to be pink 4 shot tech menace on any netrunner that had legendary shortcircuit which used to apply on any crit from a weapon.

Anyone else remember pre-2.0 when this was the best weapon in the game? It used to be insanely overpowered. I understand nerfing it for balance reasons but they could have changed how you acquire it and locked it behind a difficult mission.
My most recent playthrough I mained this gun + kerenzikov + Sandevistan.
I mean, I mained Katanas, but I had such a good time using the pistol to slide/side-step into a kerenzikov activation, shoot, dash in, bop for the reload, shoot, dash, bop, shoot— sandy activate in there somewhere, that I basically just fell back on the katana if I whiffed some part of the cycle. I swapped to my main weapon when the fun shooty bop cycle failed. 😁

God the original version of this iconic was nuts. You could basically one-shot small groups, it was great (but overpowered af)

I got this on my second playthru and now it’s my go-to racing/driving gun. Tears thru cars and accuracy isn’t required lol.
Since I’m all fists/melee and explosive proof, it’s also my “oh crap” gun in slot three when I’m on the ground.
Firing this bad boy at the ground while riding a motorcycle gives you a vertical boost. I love using it to make trick jumps or hop over oncoming cars.
No love for iconic dezerter? Double barrel one shot with emp on reload and obliterate is so satisfying
My pistolero nomad runs Taigan and Laika in the weapon slots. The combination makes me feel bad for the gangoons in my path.

Made a whole run using only tech weapons and I found out they are pretty funny to use

it’s about as much of a tech weapon as a stick is a baseball bat but it hits nonetheless
i honestly prefer power weapons because the hold to charge mechanic just feels weird to me
plus i’ve played other fps games so i’m used to just clicking normally to shoot

You should have seen it before it got nerfed. Was like firing a rail gun.
