Modern CS has shitty console game movement where you accelerate instantly that is the primary cause of peekers advantage, A-D spam, and weak tagging
It was true in 2013,2014,2015,2016,2017,2018,2019,2020,2021,2022,2023,2024 and it still is true in 2025
think I might go full autist and make a lengthy post about how terrible CS2/CSGO movement is and what valve could do to fix it

peeking =/= holding angles

I just thought I’ll post this because so many players post the newest take thinking this a CS2 issues when everything people say about CS2 has been said about GO.
Most people just haven’t played this game long enough.
That doesn’t mean the game is perfect and there is no room for improvements. For me for example is definitely the networking that needs work. I can’t play in the evening.
But the cycle of CS is always „the current game is shit and the old game was perfect“.

My main problem with this game is when I get shot and it teleports me back to where I was half a second ago. I’m constantly getting pulled around corners or having my aim thrown off because the opponent body shots me and I get fucking dragged backwards while I’m adjusting my aim.

peeker’s advantage was defintely a thing in csgo , but in cs2 it is sadly the only viable meta

It’s the same shit with every single game with Summit. He wants to play x game, he plays, a week or two in he complains about everything in that game, he movs onto new game, repeat.

correct me if i’m wrong – the cs:go clip summit was complaining about… wasn’t there an issue with peeks or netcode at that time ???
