If we’re actually talking about Twistzz then I believe he’s NA’s greatest rifler. Yeah Elige in 2018 looked like the best player in the world for a few months, but Twistzz’s consistency, his evolution as a player, and trophy cabinet then I think he takes it.
If we’re talking about Stewie then I don’t think anyone would ever tell you he was the most mechanically gifted player. He relied a lot on instincts and unexpected aggression to carry him through games. Ironically I think if he was playing today he’d find a lot of success. Maybe more consistently than in GO. Cultural impact through the roof even with his bad history and the Stewie B site hold is probably THE clip of Counter-Strike IMO.
EDIT: Okay so I misspoke. Elige definitely has better consistency, but I think Twistzz being able to play/win more against top teams in the last few years while Elige languished on COL kind of pushes him ahead for me. I’m sure Elige still has that skill, but Twistzz has done it more recently and so I’m leaning that way.
Jokes aside weren’t twistzz and stew tight when they played together? I think I remember stew saying he wanted to pass the torch on to twistzz and teach him everything he could.
