Hey, I just put in a i7 4790k to my system with a gigabyte z97 mobo and 2060 super but it doesn’t look like my cpu is boosting at all, it’s showing only turbo freq to be 40 in all cores same as non turbo, I enabled intel boost tech in bios from auto, but no luck. I’m not super well versed in this area so any help would be much appreciated. Also temps aren’t an issue as I got a peerless assassin and max temps under load are 55 right now

youre not going to see it boosting while sitting in the BIOS
if youre not seeing it boost under load while in windows, make sure windows isnt operating in some “power save” mode. it should be at max performance
check for any power save options in the bios
