**”The specific incidents detailed in the case include forcibly trying to kiss colleagues, coercing them to do handstands in skirts, and lighting a subordinate’s beard on fire.**”

    Fucking hell

Old news. The true crime is Yves Guillemont not being dragged to court by his balls for covering up his lackey’s crimes. But hey, as long as these pervs make games which make him and his family money…

    >François, formerly editorial vice president, was found guilty of sexual harassment, psychological harassment and attempted sexual assault.

    >One of the incidents François has been accused of involved him tying a woman to an office chair and pushing her into an elevator. In another incident, François allegedly forced a woman to do a handstand when she came to work in a miniskirt

    >At a Back to the Future-themed Christmas party in 2015, François told a female co-worker that he liked her dress and then attempted to forcibly kiss her while others restrained her arms.

    what the actual fuck?

*At a Back to the Future-themed Christmas party in 2015, François told a female co-worker that he liked her dress and then attempted to forcibly kiss her while others restrained her arms. During the trial, François claimed he acted in this manner because the studio had a “culture of joking around.”*

I guess sexual assault is classified as “joking around” at Ubisoft?

Actually getting convictions in a case like this? A rare and wonderful day.

All that bullshit for the most mediocre games ever, let the company die.

If my boss tried to light my beard he would learn it the Batman/Bane way

LOL. This was the company that has said they would prepared lawyers and anti-harassment Plan for ‘Assassin’s Creed Shadow developers.

And this is why we should not buy Ubisoft games. Run by tools, who are protected by tools. May it go under and everyone find better employment… just not at Microsoft apparently.

This company is rotten scum in every way.

Their games are garbage. Their people are garbage. They are garbage.

Heard a story the other day that a high up producer had like comic style porn shared TO HER by her own boss, and not in a way that was like, btw this exists, I’m sad. Like, he emailed it to her and was like “lol check this out, it’s hot” sort of thing. The comic itself was also more insulting than just her being nude/compromised. I believe the guy who did this still works at Ubisoft, but I’m not sure.

  12. Hey, stop bothering women. Come to me, I’ll take you all on.

So this is why their logo looks like a massive asshole?

This is so disgusting! I am never giving them another cent, putting them in the same pile as Activision Blizzard.

  15. I just hope they get out the guillotines for these executives and the rest for staying in silence.

The devs are the victims, they have some awesome artists that care about the games they are creating. Assassins Creed lets us explore the past like no other game even if they fail sometimes with the accuracy of the environment for obvious reasons. They are constrained by the ones above, and they are the ones whose job are in danger with no benefits, like most of us, don’t go against the devs who care, try their best and gives us memories, get the executives and CEOs.
