I feel like she’s as much an asset as she is a liability.

1. Overrated, insufferable, and stuck up during her entire arc, plot armor somehow validates all her above trash qualities and makes her come out on top. Only “good” moments are when she and V become a thing and she actually begins expressing concern for him.
2. Cake.

Speaking as someone who only finished the game for the first time yesterday, she made me regret my decision to RP as a gay male V. I feel like she was by far the most fleshed out romance partner, >!even having an entire ending more-or-less devoted to her,!<even if I prefer Kerry’s storyline. He just comes a bit too late in the game, no pun intended.
She’s also a pretty fun character. I can imagine some people find her volatility and vulnerability annoying, but I think they hit about the right balance.
I only have two criticisms. One is that she was in the *ass* end of nowhere on damn near the edge of the map, making it a pain to do her missions since I was trying to avoid fast travel. Maybe it would’ve been better if the initial location and the final location of the Aldecaldos swapped places, being closer to the city to start with and then ending up further out. But that’s a minor complaint given that there *is* fast travel.
The second more serious criticism is that I mostly just find her animosity with Saul to be….stupid? Maybe I’ve just forgotten details in the 80+ hours of gameplay since I did her initial quests, but I feel like they argue to the point of breakup and then reconcile on every mission until he finally decides she should be co-leader.
Oh, and her final big quest using >!the tank is super meh, there should have been a lot more dudes to kill so it actually feels like a big attack. With the numbers they had, I probably could have killed them faster with my cyberdeck!<. But I’m pretty sure this is supposed to be the sex scene, so I would imagine it has more punch if you actually do that.
So all in all: great character, kinda weak storyline.

A pain in the ass but God damn it I can’t help but love her. Wish she got a bit more development and grow instead of having plot armour and everything work out in her favour. I do feel there is more to the Nash story too, just going by a text message from Rogue after we arrive at the sunset motel.

So I’m on my first play through of this game currently. I like Panam as a character. She comes off as a friend first but as she gets more comfortable with V, her romance side comes out. So she feels very realistic.
However, personality aside. Her introduction mission with Mitch and Scorpion feel so rushed in terms of dialogue, I hated it.
I rate Panam a hot as hell on a scale 1-10

Who’s that? I never see her posted here at all.
Is this that minddance girl or something?
DrNomblecronch
* She’s apparently 33, and my V is the mature one of the two somehow.
* She rides the line between “friendly and approachable” and “absolute blood-craving maniac” in the same way V does: if they had a crew, she’d be on it, in a way Judy or River or etc would not be.
* She has never thought about the consequences of her actions once in her life and it’s a miracle she’s not dead.
* She’s the kind of leader that, when they occurred in history, we still know about 2000 years later because they were that kickass.
* She is emotionally intelligent, but only at the weirdest possible times.
* I don’t think her ass is actually anything special but she plunked her legs in my lap once and I have never gotten over that.
* I like it when she talks about techy things.
* She is entirely too good to even be with the ‘cados closest to Night City. Too earnest.
* My V is *terrified* that, during the tank linkup, she found something she shouldn’t have.
* I really don’t get how her hair works. It’s not just a puzzle, it seems like it would be *especially* impractical in dusty environments, such as Everywhere That Is Not A City.
* She is responsible for the understanding that Spunky Monkey is lemonade, making the clearly superior option of banana flavored drink non-canon, and for this I cannot forgive her.
* She is the only NPC that did not ever fuck up driving from one place to another even a little bit. Makes sense.
* She’s probably named after the defunct airline.
* I still think about that legs in the lap thing though, seriously.
Overall: solid choom. Needs to stick with Saul, though, or she will rocket off into space and explode.
Educational_Fact_221
speaking as a very fictional women-obssessed lesbian, i love her more as a best friend than lover. i’d find much joy just cracking open a cold one with her while busting wraith skull. i feel like she embodies the spirit of the aldecaldos well and you’d be an idiot to ever betray her trust 🍻

I’m not gonna lie: she is way too proud of that truck and I don’t think I would be able to fake my enthusiasm for very long. It’s a thoroughly mid vehicle.
But other than that she’s great.

I did the one play thrue where you drive off into the sunset with her, but then I got the others where she just never answers, and after that I said screw helping her. I will side with Saul and take my free car.
This character? That is Panam. Daughter of Palmer. The rightful Queen of the Highway. You owe her your allegiance.

After seeing all the endings, I now have a negative opinion of Panam. She’s only kind to V in her own ending (the Star ending). In the other endings, she’s either distant or unfriendly—and in most of them (like the Tower, Demon, and the Sun), she’s more hostile than supportive.
FlintingSun
She is a perfect friend, response to the void Jackie left behind, in my view. She is a give-and-take character that brings some wholesome interaction to Valerie’s life. This so critical at the junction V is at. Brilliant character—Panam.

She is a red flag factory with an ass of gold. She is a bit of a narcissist, she has no notion of consequences because someone always saves her ass. She is 33 but the other caldos treat her like a teenager with a crush because she puts them up for it, she gets away with a lot of shit probably because she is hot.

The best in the entire story. I love johnny but he can go die under the train if i gotta be with panam.
Shes also a fucking blood thirsty maniac ocassionally.
She also jumps straight into deaths door for the sliver of chance you might live. Even risking her family in the process.
