Reminds me of the time I queued into a CS match after work one day in 2019/20 and got sent to Brazil. Thought it was weird and was unplayable on the ping from the UK. Lots of loud screaming in Portuguese the entire time so I think they liked me. Was a weird one-off situation, didn’t happen in the next game so forgot all about it.
It then happened AGAIN a year later. Early evening in EU, solo queued for an Inferno game. Ended up across the globe in Brazil.

I clicked accept and only noticed it said Server – Singapore after, nobody else accepted though lol. Peru and US were after but nobody is accepting xdd

Even casual puts me in Chicago or Dallas servers, from Finland. Would be funny if it wasnt for the horible ping.
Well this is one way to loose the playerbase, gj valve. Wonder if the russians have the same issues?

Severs 1-5: Clearly overloaded.
Severs 6-9: Missing due to overheating (bad cooling control).
Servers 10-11: Very close, but global warning and El Niño make these reasonable.
Sever 12: Likely didn’t actually go online because server was already dead.
