Next up 6gb version. For use with ultra super hyper performance dlss

  2. Same thing with 16gb on 80-series or mid-high competitors like the 9070 xt.

…don’t judge me because I’m broke.

    Finally someone said it

If you lack VRAM, just download it, I got exclusive 32GB GDDR8 memory by downloading, it is the same way as downloading more system memory

  5. KebabRacer69

It doesn’t matter what you want; you’ll buy it anyway

is it nvidia fault or people who continue buying them. from nvidia point of view products sell well.

only way to change it stop buying 5060 series cards but people are selfish nothing will change they will buy 5060s anyway.

as I’ve learned the hard way

10 GB is still not enough

  10. Th1rtY2

everyone hates Nvidia yet most people end up buying nvidia

  11. 2006pontiacvibe

Damn, the 5060 is still 8gb when they had a 12gb 3060? Further confirms my decision to go AMD when I buy a GPU

  12. Joaan_21

Now imagine my pain with only 4gb of vram bro, I hate living in a country where laptops are expensive as hell (even more than in first world countries)

  13. Derpking93

Speaking of VRAM I got just a pc is 16gb of VRAM plenty for high settings in games?

  14. SubpabUwU

Guys I am in tough situation,
I am sitting around what gpu to buy
    Rtx 4060 oc
    Rtx 5060 ( normal)
    Amd 7600xt 16 gb vram
Mostly gaming. Since where only 8gb vram I am confused what to do,also am gonna use my build for next 4-5 years

  15. pupperdole

Dw we can use ai to upscale our vram

  16. DacOgeT00l

If you want more, buy another card /s

  17. SunkyWasTaken

On Linux, you can use a Swap partition (or file) to use your storage device as backup RAM. Is there a similar thing for VRAM?

  18. empathetical

I know people think these cards are pathetic and not practical but they are cheap and there are plenty of people out there not looking to play the latest and greatest games at the highest settings. 8gb vram will still run practically 99% of games on the market and even the newest ones will play at mid settings with dlss enabled. For the price… it’s perfect for many people that just want to play games

  19. JayDKing

I wouldn’t mind so much if they stuck 192 bus speed on there, but it’s 128.

  20. Hairy-Stay5919

Repeat after me: Inflated VRAM does not equal more performance. The market segment this graphics cards is addressing are people gaming in 1080P who rarely ever open the Display Settings to games anyway, and just play the games with no modification to how the game optimized the graphics settings based on their 8GB VRAM GPU.

  21. regularArmadillo21

8gb. Vram. Is. Fine. Quit. The. Elitism.

I’m using a base 4060. Playing every game I could ever want. 1080p full ghrapics ray traced cyberpunk runs above 60 even.

  22. I play alot of differnet multiplayer games which are very popular and only one of them uses more than 5gb vram (gray zone).

PC users are just now getting used to this, the car industry has been doing this for decades, new models with affordable stripped down versions that make it essentially pointless to own for any reason other than it’s new. It fools people, soon you’ll have a whole plethora of people at PC meet ups in car parks with their shop built rig with an rtx 5060 that’s being outperformed by a PC for a third of the cost lmao

  26. Cheese19s

I don’t think vram is THAT important. You can’t say how good a gpu is just by their vram.

There are more things like clock speed, power usage, cores, etc…

  27. Little-Particular450

Yet, in this very sub i get downvoted because i said someone who bought a 5060 8gb played themselves.

    So which is it?

  28. slizzbizness

If they add VRAM then they can’t insanely upcharge for their enterprise AI cards! Which is their fucking bread and butter!

Nevermind that they could continue to push the envelope and add more VRAM to those as well. That would cut into profits!!

Fuck all these Steve Jobs wannabe CEOs that want to have yearly summits where they have grandiose announcements about incremental updates.

So fucking sick of this bullshit
