I completed the ghost with the diaries, got wonder weapon with all the elements/scope, not sure what else I need to do. I put the split zombie in the big tube as well. Am I supposed to do something else with him? He’s just chilling in there for like 2-3 rounds. Is he the final item?

There’s a computer nearby where you captured the specimens that you need to interact with, I think it’s up a set of stairs from what I remember. This will spawn a bunch of megatons and dogs so be warned. It’ll then spawn a portal near spawn to go through, there will be a cutscene, then the final item will spawn and picking it up takes you to the boss.
You need to interact with the computer near the chamber he went into, he will fuse into Orlov, then will break out and you have to find him, there’ll be a portal in the Nacht room, then the family photo is in the next room on a bench – this will spawn you into the final area where you protect him as he helps to shut down the gateway.
He then stays behind while you escape to raptor one and exfil
