Yeah, that’s why I preferred to make it the last thing I did before meeting Hanako.

I always put off PL until the late game. Maybe a few gigs and side missions left, but most of it complete. After all, it is not only the most/second most high-stakes part of the game when considering the wider lore implications, but I also think that doing VDBs last makes the most sense, after which So Mi contacts you. Mainly because it is one mission you explicitly need to wait for, with Mr. Hands trying to contact them and all that, plus Alt representing a direct chance of a cure for someone with nothing left to lose and no further options.
Anyways, my V is at this point not only pretty much a celeb in the world of fixers and mercs, but works incredibly professionally and efficiently; body count in the hundreds by now. This makes her a preem target for our Birdie, but it’s also how she conducts herself in the DLC, aside from foregoing the possible cure to kick the feds and corpos in the nuts with exceptional power at NCX.
In the end Reed is dead, Myers fucked off and probably placed her on the most wanted list, Alex will have to die if V doesn’t (provided Alex doesn’t do the sensible thing of leaving NC), and So Mi is far away on the moon. So what does she have to show for it? Nothing, really. But hey, it’s a job well done – so dust off your hands, reload your Malorian, and take the next fixer call. No time for reminiscing in this city (which I’m not one for anyways…)

To be fair, I never considered her “the president” as NUSA doesn’t have control over the entire country.

Well, you do get, in my opinion, one of Johnny’s best speech when he self reflects on what Song bird has that he lacked. Why she succeeded when he didn’t
And it’s a really serious scene where V and Johnny doesn’t throw sarcastic one liners at each other like usual. It’s Johnny being vulnerable, something he rarely does

I still get hype to jump down that tube every time
