I’m tempted, but I never finished the first one. I don’t really want to be lost in the story.
Then again, one of the reason I never finished DS1 is that the story apparently required a sizeable amount of drugs to make sense, so it may not be a valid point.

Being a huge TWD fan, & admiring Reedus’ work, seeing his performances in the Death Stranding series *still* makes me really sad & bummed out that we never got that P.T. game :/

It is magnificent and a big step up from the first one.

Look it’s very cool so far. But I think more needs to be said about how many characters are just used for basic expo dumping and are acted like at a first table read.
Even Dollman! I really think Kojima needs to work on that element of his storytelling. I’m skipping 90% of the talking in this game because so much of it is so boring.

The first one either you love it or hate it, personally I always loved it and think is one of the most innovative and unique games of recent time, I’m currently replaying it and can’t wait to play 2 after, seems this one it’s even better, Kojima is truly a god send for this industry

Can someone tell me if DS2 has more diverse environments? Judging from the trailers I saw some cool vistas.
I didn’t like the couple bland biomes of the first one. The snow and ashy environment.

Im two days of play into the game. Not sure how far int he narrative. But i can already tell you that they’ve taken a lot of complaints from the first game and reworked things. A lot of Kojimas trademark weirdness has been toned down a bit. Things like (sam porter bridges, bridgette, blah blah lots of name puns.) The big thing is that they start giving you an arsenal within the first 3 hours and you can literally start solid snaking around enemy bases in that same time.
