The ending (the very ending) was very satisfying and awesome. “Mistery” resolution sucks, though.

One of the best walking simulator games out there. Hell, if you go in thinking it’s more of a visual novel I think you’ll have a better time.

In the Valley of God’s when?

I think one’s opinion of the ending depends a lot on how much you can relate to Henry. As a middle-aged guy in a not-too-dissimilar situation, it hit hard and I really really loved it. I thought it was perfect.
But they also did such a good job building the tension and setting up the mystery storyline, I can’t blame people for being disappointed that it turned out to be mostly a red herring. The writers did their jobs too well in some ways.

Well, it being the point isn’t exactly a get out of jail card.

I got what they were going for with the ‘reveal’ and the ending, I just didn’t enjoy it. Loved the rest of the game leading up to it but it kinda felt pointless once the credits started rolling

when elden Ring doesn’t explain shit it’s peak game design, but when a small indie dev does it they have bad writers…

The game about introspection was too introspective.

I liked it, would have enjoyed more time just working the job, too.

The epitome of “it’s not about the destination.”

If the point of an activity is to not have fun and you don’t have fun, you can’t just say “thats the point” and negate all criticism.
