So, now that we have about a month of using the VMP, I want to know how everyone feels about it. Before the release, many were worried that it was going to be very broken and would dominate the meta. Others were happy, hoping it would shake up the meta and knock off the reigning king, the USS9. With all that said I just wanted to ask some questions and have a discussion about it.
–Where do you think it ranks in the current Meta? (MP/BR)
–Do you think it is a niche weapon or is it versatile enough for many playstyles? (MP)
–Do you use it often? If not why? What do you use?
–What improvements do you think need to be made to it? (MP/BR)
–If you bought the mythic version are you happy with your purchase?

I think it’s going to be a repeat of the bp50.
The uss will get its nerf, and thus the vmp will be the next most op gun.
It’s incredibly strong close up, but even at midrange it’s great. A ttk of 250 can easily keep up with something like a t19.
The sprint speed can be faster than melee weapons, making it a super viable secondary weapon.
The vmp is overpowered, just a tad overshadowed. I suspect we’ll be mad at it for a while. But I think it might be less annoying than prime uss/bp50. 250 is a lot easier to deal with than 200, and has a lot less range than prime bp50
It’s definitely one of the top tier MP SMGs, but not quite overtaking the USS9 in overall usage Imo. I mainly use it as a secondary weapon with the sprint speed build for my precision weapons.
There was absolutely no need to nerf the hipfire on this gun. It just got released a few days ago.
