For me, loading & configuration of drivers/updates is the “90% sanding” process of a build.

  2. Divergent5623

90% trying to find a GPU at a reasonable price.

  3. StygianStrix

    Probably dealing with optimization issues

For the actual build process it’s cable management. That takes a long time to learn to do efficiently and unless you build PCs at a job you probably won’t ever get enough experience to do it well quickly

  4. Aezetyr

This is a repeat. The answer is cable management for me.

Taking the computer back apart because the thing you forgot is under something else. Same with repairing cars.

  18. cadst3r

Cables and cords. In the computer, coming out of the computer, on your desk, under your desk. Make it as tidy as you want, you’ll be doing it twice over every time you need to change something in your setup. Cables and cords, man.

If you’re opted into the steam beta, it’s updating steam.

  22. XWasTheProblem

We have to divide it into ‘building’ and ‘using’.

For building it’s probably however ‘staring at your 80% finished build and thinking how to cable manage the 3 cables you forgot about, without ahving to unplug everything’ is called.

    For ‘using’…

    idk, waiting for updates?

  23. just_a_bit_gay_
