“Absolutely not”: Pimp on if FaZe should sign s1mple permanently

  1. Hardly makes any sense? Doubt it. I’m sure the merch sales and viewership s1mple brings alone can make this worthwhile

The real question is: if FaZe and NaVi actually do agree on a buyout, can FaZe actually afford to buy him out and how long would FaZe realistically sign S1mple for? Cause 1.) S1mple doesn’t come cheap, especially with his recent performance, it kinda saved his stock as a superstar. And 2.) His motivation to play under FaZe was to play with Rain, but Rain is most likely nearing the end of his tenure in FaZe, so if Rain goes, motivation comes in as a factor for S1mple to stay long term.

  3. “Ramifications of such a deal” – proceeds to not go into detail of how much brand value S1mple gets you and how much merch would be sold because of him.

Surely there’s a finite number of L takes someone can spew before people stop paying attention to him.

  4. If his contract ends in 3 months, there is zero reason to be paying a buy out

There’s not exactly an array of teams lining up to sign S1mple in 3 months

Big name on a big org? Money’s gonna flow bro problem is the results

  6. TheNamesRoodi

Contract jail should not be a thing. Disgusting behavior by the orgs

  7. HANAEMILK

Can’t they just loan him again until his contract ends?

He’s absolutely right, and you’re just a biased fanboy. This isn’t the prime simple we know and love. This is a guy who drops 0.80 rating in the most important match, he was literally, physically shaking from the pressure at the playoffs

Is it not getting to the point of vindictiveness? Surely NAVI should, theoretically, take the fee they can get and wash their hands off of s1mple’s salary, which, even when benched, should still be substantial.

Keeping him around for the season, knowing that literally no team is going to take him at the current asking price, seems pointless money-wise.

Meanwhile Falcons burning $10 million in 3 years and he’s fine with that… s1mple is free agent in 3 months and a top signing for FaZe if they want him

  11. choose_a_username_xd

pimp… stick to cycling and leave the business side to others mate

  12. S1mple’s economic ramifications are half of the reason you’d sign him imo. Basically guaranteeing you’re the most popular team in the world

  13. Hard agree on that take. In his current form he is not worth the money, at least not if you want to get firepower in your team.

But I kinda hope that they can negotiate something, because i kinda have my doubts that simple will have a future at navi

S1mple blew away the chance to show him still good on that playoff. Broky would perform better than him. Fck

  15. better to give Broky another chance to be honest. If not Broky then some other youngster with potential. This is why faze need academy roster, all established orgs need an academy roster. So like FaZe, Vita, G2, NiP, Fnatic, Mouz, NaVi, Spirit, VP, Astralis, Liquid. Idk probably more names that have been in esports for a long time and can be called established org. This does not mean recent results btw, just overall big orgs with many tittles on their belt.

  16. Restless0420

He has 3 months remaining in his contract. If Faze really wants to, just loan him until then. This is like buying him out on a cheaper price.

  17. Variabletalismans

Why not just replace w0nderful? I know hes toxic and all that which can mess with the whole team vibe but he seems to be in a good place right now

  18. It would be funny for faze to pay a huge sum for s1mple after letting ropz and twistzz go for nothing tbh
