We raided the arasaka headquarter in NC, if we can get on and off of the military flagship it would make look arasaka less like a danger and more like a victim….
It was planned to have a mission in it, same with the casino, but I think it was dropped early on in development.
Presumably this was likely planned as some kinda DLC, or perhaps Mike has plans for it in Red as a sort of palace for the Arasaka family while they’re away from Japan (since in Red Arasaka was prohibited on US soil as a result of the 4th Corp War, and their NC HQ was a smoldering crater in the Hot Zone). There’s mention of the carrier during one of the loading sequences.
I forget if I head-cannoned Subaro arriving by way of AV from the carrier, or if it was something I read/heard in the game. It’s been a hot minute for me.
All we got is a big ship, shipping either a demon head, cat head or a horse head on it, during the scene where you meet Goro near the water when it’s dark. If you don’t look up near the end of the conversation, you can actually miss it.
Not sure what these heads mean btw.
If I remember right a small untextured model of it exists in the sea outside viewing distance.
