From my experience, if you download the driver and install it instead of using the Nvidia App it works fine. So far no crashes or black screens (RTX 4070 on newest drivers)

I have a 4070 TI, have been updating each and every driver, no issues so far, I don’t know if people with failing drivers are a very loud minority or what, but I have never had any driver issues with Nvidia.

4090 and I was fine until the last update. Then I couldn’t use multi-monitors with g-sync enabled otherwise they were a completely unusable flickering mess. Had to ddu to 566.36 to get them working again

My buddy has a 4070 super and in one particular game crashes and blue screens constantly but no issues in any other game.
We’ve both been updating to the same drivers but I have a 3070ti and have no issues.

They’re great on my 4070. the tearing issues I was experiencing were due to my Series X controller being connected pre game launch. This was especially noticeable in Zero dawn remastered. I did noticed one version of the drivers (566.14) was not writing DX12 cashe files, but all the newer versions are fine. There may have been issues with cashe in some other drivers..idk..

I’m an RTX 50xx user, so I had to use the newer drivers, and they’re working fine for me.
I only had two issues, so far:
1. The new doom game crashed for me on launch. For whatever weird reason, it was because I had my CPU’s iGPU enabled. But disabling it via device manager solved it. No issues, since.
2. Portal with RTX crashed for me about 30 minutes into the game. But I later found out that it was specifically updated for the RTX 50 series, and I just forgot to update my GPU drivers to support that. No issues, since.
Nvidia already solved most of the core issues. At this point, people are just exaggerating.

I updated to 576.52 for 3080ti when I started playing Dune Awakening a couple weeks back, no problems so far. Annoyingly the game wants me to update to some non standard 576.66 version which I’m not going to do, but again no problems so I don’t know what they’re whining about.
Prior to this game my drivers were like two years out of date because why update if you don’t have a reason to do so?

I seem to have the best luck to use DDU to clean my Nvidia drivers.
Then just install the newest ones. Seems to work fine each time, fortnite especially seems to like it when I do that. Lol

I have a notebook with RTX3050. I used the older drivers (56x.xx) when I updated to Windows 11 24H2 and the driver caused a constant, high CPU load on the system process. Updating to the newer drivers (572.60 and higher) solved this problem. So far everything is running fine.
(I also use the current drivers on my gaming desktop with RTX4080 without problems.)

GTX1080, still on 566.36. Tried all the latest releases. All fubared. Crashes, freezes, slowdowns, chrome issues, youtube issues, HDR issues, many windows settings pages just don’t open, event viewer fills with all kind of random errors….

I have few problems with my 5070 and new driver.Youtube stutters when I move my mouse for example.Cyberpunk is really weird as well,I had like 15 FPS more before.Rest of tested games seems unaffected though.But that YouTube stutter drives me crazy.

I used to update driver every week (assuming there wad one). Last month I started facing issues while playing bg3. After trying a lot of things, I finally went back to a driver version released in January. Things have been better since.
I have an RTX 3060 12 GB
Now I don’t know when or what version to update to.
