Their 9800X3D CPUs are hidden. They have the exact same hardware for both machines.

All I got was a pizza night with a 2 liter of Coke.

Such a good parent. Plus, now they have the experience in building their own, which goes a long way.

Only possible criticism I could make is maybe overspending on motherboard ~~and getting a larger pcie gen four ssd for the same price as the gen five ssd~~ but I am no expert! Hope they have a great time with them and don’t have to sell them off to pay student loans 😭

W parent! When I graduated my gift was moving out lol

The dual G502s are the best part about this post

  6. Not only a awesome gift but everything was well purchased with great brand-price.

But i will admit i hate seeing 50series being sold when 40 is still a better card but atlas getting one and them being used i get why 50 is being bought.

    What monitor’s?

I thought graduating high school was just… normal and expected?

  8. tacosnotopos

Good for them. My mother kicked me out for graduation lol

  9. Kladice

Did they fight over subtle differences when they were younger?

Now I know I have to buy the exact same thing for the forever if that’s the case. Haha.

What the fuck is life like with parents who love you.

    Nice job OP!

Hey! This is really cool! They will learn a lot while building it. Great idea to do it yourself instead of getting a pre-built.

Y’all got gifts for graduating? WTF

  14. usethedebugger

What an amazing gift. You did good, and they’ll certainly never forget this. Keep being a great parent.

How can I help you? – I have a list, two of everything! Two Z313? – I have a coupon for those!

  17. Amazing gift and nice job pops! But can we talk about the experience of building it together as a family, gaming together, learning and whatever else they will do together on those PC? A++ parenting!

  18. LuckyWriter1292

I got “give us half your wage plus bills” – then shocked pickachu face when I moved somewhere cheaper that didn’t have rules and a curfew (at 18 mind you)

  19. avelineaurora

W parent for sure. I don’t think I even got a graduation gift of anything in particular.

  20. ryanhazethan

Holy shit dude this is a nice haul for a first pc!!

  21. Dawn_of_Enceladus

Damn, my HS graduation gift was my parents divorcing and not even acknowledging it.

I’m happy for these gentlemen here tho, the absolute beast machines are not even the best part when they have such great and supportive parenting at home. Well done, mate.

1000w psu is a little overboard but other than that looks fine

  23. Gutkin1127

I joined the navy that was my high school graduation present.

  24. Oxter5336
