Yeah, no. *Mario Kart* is way more fun when you have a bunch of characters, that’s why 8 was so good.
Am I alone in hoping they just leave their IPs seperate? Not every game needs to be Smash. I’m so so tired of mixing IPs just let me enjoy the words and characters I want without shoving them together. Stop ruining good worlds with other good worlds.

I would love to see a DLC pack of Racers for two Mario adjacent series: Donkey Kong and Warioware.
For Donkey Kong I’d like to see:
* Diddy Kong
* Dixie Kong
* K. Rool
* Teen Pauline
(As a note I picked Teen Pauline over say Funky Kong because she’s about to get a load of attention via DKB and I gave K. Rool a slot because my boy needs more crossover love.)
For Warioware:
* Mona
* Ashley
* Jimmy T.
* 9-Volt
And for a Bonus 3rd DLC pack make it of rare characters from the Marioverse.
* Stanley the Bugman
* Captain Syrup
* Professor E. Gadd
* Wart
Nah they don’t need to be DLC. Just make the sequel Mario Kart – Nintendo World with tracks from various franchises.

Nintendo Kart seemed like the natural progression of the series to me. The last one had Link and Animal Crossing stuff in it. Expanding to other games made total sense. I hope they still do it.
I played this and it felt exactly the same as Mario kart 8.
I UNDERSTAND the reasoning behind it and I can even agree with it to an extent.
That said, the roster is easily one of the worst aspects of World (there’s truly a lot of worse aspects like the Kamek unlock system and the forced intermissions online though) and while Link wouldn’t fix the issue, he’d certainly help mask the downgrade from 8D’s final roster. I’d certainly have more to defend the roster with from my best friend that mained Ludwig who was cut.

If you’re charging $80 for a kart racing game you add all the fucking content upfront or for free later or GTFO. . . They better not try to charge for DLC for this game
I like it. I’m not a fan of how MK8 turned into Super Smash Nintendo Kart. Let people add crossover characters later if they want, but Mario Kart should be 100% Mario Universe, at least for the base game.
