I'm a beginner and have been working on the topic intensively over the past few weeks and would actually be able to do a ram tuning, but it just doesn't get stable no matter what I try to do. I tried various presets from other users, watched Youtube videos, tested buildzoids timings, updated and optimized bios, played with the tensions but it doesn't want to run. My goal is to get at least 6200 to run 1:1 cl30. I also get my FCLK not stable over 2000. Expo 1 is activated and I desperately tried to loosen the timings at 6200 to cl32-38-38-76-114 yesterday, trefi I had set to 50000, which worked on a test over occt but spit out errors in the 2nd test. The mem temp was about 59 in avg. The standard latency is around 71ns, which i would like to reduce a bit. I installed all common tools and tested a lot. I use the 9800x3D on a gigabyte x870 gaming x wifi7 with current bios and with +200 -30 CO. I need help please.

Your tRFC seems really low, try raising it and that should help, also your VSOC is higher than it needs to be for 3000/2000, leave it on auto until you get your timings stable then you can lower it.

I have read that you shouldn’t have an overclock or under volt on the cpu when trying to tune ram. Maybe revert that back to stock before continuing.

  3. remove curve optimizer undervolt before stabilize the ram… if you are stable wirh undervolt without ram oc… after ram oc with the same – 30 you will probably be unstable
