I'm a fairly new player and y'all can see I don't even have legendary this season yet (i had exams). I've decided to start a damascus run and ik it's not worth it so don't try to convince me against it because I've decided to go through with it. I had a few questions

Which are the worst guns to grind gold on?
Ik about the shotty and d13. I also know that the svd is the worst sniper but i have gold on it. Any other trash weapons y'all can give will be highly appreciated. I want to get them out of the way first -
I only have 2500 weapon xp cards so will i get more cards as i grind? How do you actually get them? I just get them from playing normally and they're clearly not enough

Does the season 9 trick work that if you get gold on weapons released before season 9, you can get damascus even without grinding all the guns released after? I saw this from a coscript video

U have to get every single gun gold for Damascus. the most horrifically tedious weapons for me were snipers/marksmans. 120 long shots for all of them was so unnecessary and the headshots on the marksman rifles were kinda annoying cus they are clunky and not well designed in terms of how they feel. NA45 will take the longest of anything u have to get 120 longshot headshots for them to even count then 50 headshots afterwards, I’d use xp cards on that gun. The ebr sniper is garbage, shorty is aight jus play shipment domination bot lobbies, don’t use slugs and throw molotovs on the points and shoot them when they walk over the flag with ur back against the wall opposite of the flag. D13 is a weird weapon but it isn’t that bad i found it kinda fun. Consistently playing 2-3 hrs a day or more on ur days off will prolly get u it in a few months, jus dont overwork urself and u will get it eventually. Grind some camos out even on days u dont want to just to stay consistent and u will thank urself later cus it takes a minute. Ignore the ppl who claim they got it in a couple weeks cus they no lifed the game that isn’t possible even if u had cards to max everything before having to grind it, u still gotta get those 350-600 kills on most guns for the first camo section so they are just lying bro it takes time
For br, launcher, just go isolated, black out, find red crate, find the launcher, go to the wesrhouse and spawn the vehicle, don’t need to get in or drive it either cuz I just spawned it and destroyed it and it counted and done it in a single match
There are a few weapons that are quite bad to get gold on. One being another well known, the NA45, gimmicky weapon that you MUST play Hardcore to get headshots, no other way unfortunately. There are a few bad/annoying ones, Vargo, Pharo, HBRa3, OTs, Dovra, Machine Pistol, Nail Gun, etc.
You get Exp Cards everywhere basically, but just playing gets you green, blue and purple so you’ll be good for some time.
I think the Season 9 thing was changed a long time ago but I’m not completely sure, I got Damascus years ago when it did work but a long time ago saw that it was changed.
For kills for any weapon category HP Shipment is best, TMD/FL Crossfire for longshots and if you want to speed up headshots you can try Hardcore but you’ll have to work with different maps.
Losing or doing badly in a match against real people will most of the times result in getting full bots next game so don’t be mad or discouraged when you don’t do good one match, you can make up with the bot game.
1. Looks like NA-45 longshot still the worst. But now we have overkill wildcards, shoot once with XPR and finish with NA-45 (or wait for hardcore momde). Some other that will take some time:
1. Crossbow, nailgun, machine pistol (no-attachment) have ammo problem, equip them as secondary and slowly get their camo while grinding the primary gun
2. Launchers also have limited ammo, grind them overtime too, and watch out for enemy UAV. Or wait for “rapid fire” mode and grind all launchers, and all other secondary.
3. If you have a problem with melee slide kill, try it in slide boost mode (now available), it should be easier to do it there (in theory, haven’t tried it 🤷♂️)
2. If you use max-level weapons, all the weapon XP you earn will be converted into weapon XP cards.
3. Now you need to grind all.
4. Some that I know:
1. HP/FTL Crossfire is popular for long shot, might find someone else grinding camo in that map.
2. Killhouse, Cage, and Reclaim is good for melees and SG grind, they’re small and less sweaty than shipment
3. If you’re stuck somewhere, play FFA with a friend (or another device you have) in a less popular map (e.g. icebreaker, meltdown)
For snipers, just go to hard-line crash and camp. Crossfire also works. Don’t think you have to rush with sniper to quick scope. Same with Marksmen tbh.
This might be a stupid question, but how do your goods not have the stupid looking topography pattern?? I have a coupleof weapons gold and they have the stupid looking Tsukihime-ass lines through them and i find them to be ugly as sin.
