I didn't let him win FYI, he beat me fair and square. I'm very proud. For clearity, Son is toad, wife is blue Yoshi, daughter is Rosalina, and I was Dry Bowser.

    Honest question: Is he using any of the training wheels settings? Cuz I swear the balance of items is even more aggressive than MK8 and there is so much randomness and churn apart from how super helpful all those setting are. I was losing to a 6yo that wasn’t even holding the controller at one point and I’m no slouch. lol
