So I recently won a raffle for a 5090 PC (shoutout to UFD tech for that) and looked at the parts list. In it is the MSI MPG X870e Carbon Wifi, and as I have fallen into the overclocking rabbit hole with my current PC (9800x3d, 9070xt, B850 Livemixer) I wanted to also use this PC to satisfy my XOC side. What I learned from my current PC is that to overclock the 9800x3d past the typical 5.4 GHz (with a +200 mHz offset), you need an external clock generator to get noticeable gains without compromising the main BCLK stability .
So anyways, as the MSI MPG X870e carbon Wifi doesnt seem to have an eclk, is there another way i can push the CPU past 5.5 GHz?

Sell it and get a Asus Strix or ROG Board
