Bitter Black Isle is arguably one of the best dungeon crawls ever made. I almost like it more than the main campaign of the original Dragon's Dogma.
Now that DD2 has been out a while it looks like we won't be getting any DLC for it and I'm pretty bummed. A BBI equivalent in this engine would be amazing.
I want to see what Death would look like in this engine considering the Dullahan is my favorite enemy type.
I know there's the Moored World & that could be considered something similar but it just doesnt feel the same, imo. BBI was a much tighter, focused experience.

I mean, it needs to finish the game first, but sure.
It died so that Monster Hunter Wilds could be even more poorly optimized. I would have loved to see more content even for the base game just to flesh out the enemy count and make the whole world more interesting.
I would kill for any additional content in it beyond just NG+ that’s not much different from the base game.
I completed the game, saw the ending, and was really upset I couldn’t keep exploring the new world, or go back to the old world and explore, or anything else. Just start the game over again, except now it’s easy because the world doesn’t scale with you.
Even more frustrating was that you were told to rush rush rush through the very end, so I barely had time to enjoy anything there.
Is there literally any hope at all of any DLC happening? The subs seem to be in a constant state of either cope or dooming about it.
Your spoiled part is very much just normal endgame content, I would not consider that anything like BBI. The game could definitely use some more real content, it has a lot of unrealized promise.
I do miss my Magick Archer being able to use both daggers and the magic bow.
It sure does, but unfortunately I don’t see anyone in Capcom trying to champion it now that Itsuno left the company. I would absolutely love a Dark Arisen style update.
How bout we get a real performance patch first?
Dead game
People actually played this game? $70 I highly regret
No what the game needs it an optimization update. Pushing DLC without fixing previous issues would be a misstep.
Yeah, I loved the first and jumped on the second. I was maybe about 20-30hours in, a lot of that just exploring, before I realized it’s a very hollow game.
It also did “open world” very poorly.
