I'm a complete noob on CPU overclock, I just got the auto boost on my BIOS and the score seems too low on CPU-Z.
I have seen online people making 9k to 10k score.
Is that safe? For a gaming pc, do I need to push it to 8k or should be all right with my score?

you have a setting disabling multithreading, i believe it is called x3d game mode or something in the bios, try disabling that setting and check again if your cpu says 8 cores 16 threads
