A mercs gotta be kept well fed. Sushi is a great choice for on-the-go protein!
I’m no expert but if I had to guess, it probably has something to do with one or more of your 1000+ mods…
Just uninstall the “Hand Sushi” mod.

I’ve had this bug in vanilla with a throwing knife. Not sure what causes it.

You have 1000+ mods and are surprised you get problems? Some mods are probably in conflict with each other.
If you add mods, you should expect game failure.

Being a modder myself (though I only have about four working in Cpunk right now, but 800+ in Skyrim), your best bet is to uninstall everything and then reinstall one at a time until you see the issue… GODS, I’ve spent WEEKS doing that in the past. I feel bad for you.

I remember somebody posting the same exact bug on Reddit, but it happened during scene with Judy in the house near lake, which made it kinda awkward

Just add mod 100q that removes all sushi models from the game. Problem solved!
Something w the idle anywhere mod where you can eat lol. But i feel like that shoulda been pretty obvious

My base game would do that with cigarettes, reinstall and see if that fixes it.
1000+ is insane. Can’t imagine updating all those when they release patches or whatever the case may be

well the only thing I can think of that would attach a sushi to your hand in the first place is Immersive Vendors
I used to have a similar issue. I think it was a ball or a cup, IDK what I did but it disappeared.
