Is BO6 Zombies the most divisive mode in the series given how mixed people’s opinions have been since release?

    BO4 says hi

Edit: the fact that everyone is arguing so intensely about it just further proves the point that this is the right answer

I’d still argue BO4, that game shattered the community and everything that’s happened today is arguably because of that game.

Far from it, ever since CW, the zombies bubble became even smaller than it already was because of the number of new, more casual players.

For every community, what happens in social media like here never represents the majority of a playerbase, especially for a franchise as big as cod, as there are an absurd number of people who just play the game without going to the internet to say anything.

But for zombies in particular, now that there are no entry barriers, and anyone without a clue can just hop on and play for hours without getting frustrated by complexity and difficulty, what gets discussed here is irrelevant compared to the totality of players who don’t give a damn.

So, regardless of what gets discussed and what may look like a consensus around here, it’s meaningless inside the big picture.

Tell me you weren’t around for BO4 without telling me you weren’t around for BO4.

I like it but if I wanted to try a different one where should I start?

I never got to play it but BO4 zombies is wayyyy more divisive

BO2 I would say, controversial and the COD audience back then was maybe 2-3x as big

Feel like its not mentioned that much just how much people hated maps like Tranzit and Die Rise

Any zombie game that doesn’t use rounds probably gets the most criticism. Extinction and MWZ are the two main ones.

  9. No CW was about the same I’d say even worse with the fighting over community opinions over Outbreak and Onslaught since a chunk of the games life cycle was dedicated to Outbreak which a chunk of the community liked and didn’t like.

All I’m gonna add to this is the reason why I like the scoring in Cold War and Bo6 (haven’t played MW zombies) is that doesn’t penalise you for using shotguns. There’s nothing more satisfying than blowing a zombie away with a shottie. With headshots, you can actually score points.

For casual players, Liberty Falls is the perfect map.

The most recent game always is

CW and Bo4 were both significantly more divisive.

I don’t hate it but I shouldn’t lag in fucking solo

Def worse than both Cold War and MWZ

It’s sort of mixed, but that’s partially a general BO6 problem, not a BO6 *zombies* problem. From what I see it’s a lot of people’s favorite (or least hated) part of BO6. I think there’s more people mad about technical problems than about the actual quality of the maps and gameplay.

I think the most divisive mode in the series has got to be Warzone, right? And as for zombies the Modern Warfare one is pretty love-it or hate-it.

Every COD Zombies has been the same during it’s first year.

    Yeah even BO3.

BO3 only became as beloved as it is after it’s first year.

The opinions of BO6 Zombies are like a shattered veil.

For me personally it ain’t that interesting at all, have hardly played it this year at all.
