I sure hope so! It’s been fun – the map is very broad and has a lot of separate fighting zones. As a casual player, I find it challenging to play on sometimes, but I do love the map!
Yes me I miss Overpass so much
Great map in GO, but the smoke changes made it unplayable in 2. The narrow tunnels and pipes are so easy to lock down, and blowing up smokes exposes so many angles where people would usually hold. They need to make some big changes, before it can work in CS2
It’s so much better than dust imo
I miss Cache more than Overpass, but Overpass is alright. Maybe Dust 2 and Mirage could rotate out someday.

This was one of the first map I saw a counter strike esports game on, if not the first. It was the infamous olofboost game and although I didn’t know much about cs in general or the esports scene, it was still an incredible watch – the mix of excitement and horror from the casters and the audience exploding more with each successful headshot. I’ve been an enjoyer ever since although I never played the game myself.
should not have left. replacing overpass with d2 was probably the biggest headscratcher valve has ever pulled with the map pool.

I loved cobblestone, cache, overpass times. But at least we got rid of vertigo, it’s the fucking worst map ever

I think Dust 2 should’ve replaced Mirage because both maps have the same core concept. Ancient is still somewhat new so taking it off doesn’t make sense even though it’s the same (kinda) concept. Mirage hasn’t been taken off the pool since Valve sponsored the Majors. But I understand that it has been taken off if there’s few play count on the map.
