Tbh if you told me this, I would believe it and be sure about it, because gaming back then was such a mind-blowing experience, I couldn’t imagine games gonna get better
We need more crash. I wasn’t a huge fan of the art direction in crash 4 though (Tawna?). My inner child is over the moon with the tomb raider remasters though, just don’t tell her about the reboot 😒

Yeah Im in absolute agreement, the problem was profit overruled passion, and we all lost out. Except maybe for a select few who are sitting on a yacht somewhere right now 🤷♂️😞

Even crazier is if you told me Xbox exclusives like Forza and Gears of war would come to PlayStation I would have told you never. And here we are with high likelihood of halo coming to PS5 soon as well.

I don’t understand how they haven’t remastered or remade Crash Bash or something similar to it. It’s literally a perfect Online game yet Sony rather remake the other ones like wtf

Games really did peak back then from a fun standpoint. Yeah, there have been developments like realistic physics and ray tracing, but I think it’s time to just make fun, feature complete games again.
