Ask him if he tabs out a lot. If I am on full screen exclusive and tab out a lot I get this error. So usually I stay on full screen borderless and then once a game starts I switch to full screen exclusive for less input delay. If you aren’t a sweat then maybe just stay on borderless that input delay isn’t that much of an increase.
Had this happening to me a ton last night, too.
Might be worth asking what Nvidia driver he has installed, I rolled mine back and it hasn’t crashed since.
Delete the non folder files inside the documents > call of duty > players folder. See if it helps. The game will rebuild these files. If you have a bunch of them, it’s just left over from older cods.
What cpu does he have? I9?
Check your crash logs. The only answer to this problem.
