Concord might not cost 400 million(?), but it might as well be, since they can’t recoup anything from its catastrophic launch, did people forgot Firewalk doesn’t exist anymore?

I never said Mindseye is the better game
I guess I got a magic copy cause i’ve been playing it for like 10+ hours and no crashes, no bugs, no glitches, no performance issues. It’s a great game with great graphics. Cyberpunk 2077 at launch was a thousand times worse. It would crash 5-6 times every single time i played it. It had serious performance issues and visual bugs every second that ruined every single cut scene. And this is on PC. I had to wait a while before playing cause I kept encountering progression blocking issues. So funny how everyone forgot how bad it was. It’s extremely insulting they actually had the balls to charge for Phantom Liberty after that unequaled disaster.
It think that this says more about just **how** badly Concord did rather than suggesting that Mindseye didn’t do as bad as we thought.
Concord was unironically a better game. People just didn’t want to pay money for a mediorce shooter when better games existed for free.
MindsEye is almost Gollum level bad.

Reminds me of when I was at Wal-Mart around Christmas 2011 and saw copies of *Duke Nukem Forever* on sale for like ten bucks, a mere six months after its release. And they had it right at the electronics department’s register too as if it were an impulse buy item like magazines or candy bars. They were really trying to get rid of that thing.
And the saddest part? From everything I’ve seen, *Duke Nukem Forever* was a better game than *MindsEye*. That’s pitiful.
I still laugh at the video of one of the VA buying a copy of Concord thinking it was going to be a big game only for it to die as soon after it came out

When your only comparison for a launch is of all games Concord, you are done.
I just saw a playthrough of it and like geez. There’s literally nothing in almost every aspect. Gameplay is mind numbing. No interesting quest both main and side. Story mid. Ai stupid. Tons of padding. In a world where games are trying to do too much this one decided to do nothing instead

The two situations aren’t really comparable IMO. Concord got pulled because it was a multiplayer only game, and therefore needed a lot of people playing so that anyone could play. If Concord had a single-player campaign, they likely would have pulled it. And if Mindseye was a multiplayer game, it probably *would* be pulled given how poorly it seems to be doing.
The fact this game sold any copies shows just how hungry people are for GTA6.
It’s wild I had no idea this game even existed until I saw the news on how bad it was.
My Walmarts don’t even have bargain bins anymore, nothing gets that cheap.

I’m not shocked. Coming from someone who barely recognized the name 20 minutes ago and just watched a few gameplay clips I …have no idea what this game wants to be.
We have qte’s (which are universally hated), base building, ground and air vehicles, cover based shooting so it is a mess of everything
…and the gameplay looks REALLY slow. like even in scenes that feel like the there should be a rush the movement makes the gears of war cast look agile in comparison. It looks like someone made a mass effect 1 mod

I’ll buy it when it’s like $10 and if the creation mode comes to console. (which was highly unlikely even if the game did well) I saw the warning signs like everyone else and knew we were getting something pretty terrible but “Far Cry Map Editor: The Game” is something I wanted to mess with.
I haven’t played for more than an hour – the graphics are pretty good, but the NPCs are pretty dumb. Shoot, I was thinking that even the guards’ limited responses in Goldeneye are better than what these guys do.
