For those of us who live in developing countries, the cyberpunk concept is stronger than ever (low life, high technology), all that’s missing is robots walking the streets and neon on the buildings. It is becoming increasingly unsustainable to live in big cities.

unfortunately neon is part of analogue future that will never happen. we have LED-lights thought.

Give it a couple of years and you will have robots walking in the streets.

People are having more and more electronic devices in their homes, but the quality of life at work is horrible for many Brazilians, excessive working hours, precarious work environments, and salaries that do not adjust. Organized crime dominates a large part of the poor neighborhoods and corruption is widespread.

  5. How do we know when it’s non-space futurism and when it’s Cyberpunk?

Brazil is a ‘combat zone’ for sure 😂

It’s Definitely a country that has really personified cyberpunk as a reality for me.
