I never understood why some are playing with a low resolution like that.. if you have 1080p screen just set your resolution at 1440×1080, idk
I still play 1440×1080, I don’t even really have a valid reason anymore it’s just that it’s been over a decade and I’m too afraid to switch and throw myself off lmao

Never used 4:3 stretched for more than a couple games. 16:9 has me trapped.
1920×1440 on a 1440p monitor for me. Tried running 16:9 since 1440p is nice with that but can’t beat the feel of a 4:3

is 1152×864 that uncommon? it feels perfect for me
16:9 all day, i tried 4:3 a couple of times and it felt good, but i dont like sabotaging myself by having a smaller FOV. Also alt-tabbing sucks with 4:3
Just switched to 16:9 full screen window after years of playing 4:3. The game was just bugging out all the time when alt tabbing with 4:3, which was too annoying
Well you can see that target is much bigger on 4:3 so they are actually big brain smart 😀

4:3 has this 1.6 feeling the corridors are wide af also it feels like more bullets go into the head(mby bcs you have less pixels to aim at and is less random?) but Im lazy so borderless window 1920×1080 I perform best on 1280×960 though.
My game feels a lot more laggy on 16:9 for some reason

Last time I played I did so on 3440×1440 at 21:9. I don’t think I should speak 😅
I used to play csgo on 640×480 on a gtx950m laptop getting barely 60-90fps, now I have a decent pc running 1280×960 with 400 plus fps
Cs go 800×600, cs2 1024×768
I use 1440×1080 because of the visual clarity. Also I’m cpu bound so I get the same fps no matter what res I play. I don’t like native because it feels too zoomed out. CS will always be a 4:3 game to me.
I played at 16:9 for my first 500ish hours of CS, then switched to 1280×960 and never looked back. It feels so much better for me

I use 2560×1440. Haven’t used the other resolution since 2017 lol

Fps drop below 360fps sometimes if there’s 3 smokes + Mollys executes so I had to switch from 2560×1440 down to 1152×864 stretched (360hz)
