Today, for the first time, my pc smelt weird. As if something was burning. I removed the glass, and looked for the thing that smelt. Didn’t found it. Yet,y gpu was making a weird sound. I looked into it, and I found this. It was sitting between the fan and the grid. Anyone can help me figure if I need to see an IT guy? I’m scared it can be expensive, altough I have the money…

I think it is just Fill material. The card can get hot, and therefore it could start burning when inside or between metal. If I were you I would make sure that my card is ok before using

Take it to get checked out, best case scenario it’s a piece of something that fell into the fan, hopefully it hasn’t fried the gpu but if it has you don’t want to keep using it

check the temperatures(of all the gpu temp sensors if you can, it takes 2m), if they are ok, you shouldnt really have to worry

Thermal pad indeed. Could cause issues, because now a IC, inductor or mosfet cant transfer its heat to the heatsink. If its under warranty i would RMA it honestly.
