I disagree, but that’s largely due to the fact that I struggle to play more than a few games a week.
The time it takes for a map to become boring is dependent more on number of hours spent in game than calendar months.
Meta has more game time per week than I’ll achieve all year, so I can understand how he’d get bored of a single map. On the flip side, I’m only just getting to know the map. I’m still rusty on rotations and some of the interiors of certain buildings. I can never find the zip for stadium.
If the map changed regularly, I’d never get used to them. I had the same problem in Apex. With the map rotations, I never got used to any of them.
AV seem to want to cater to casuals over pros, as they’re a majority of the playerbase.

People who played after MWII don’t seem to understand the sentinment behind verdansk. Verdansk after MW2019 was played out and people asked for a new map and we got Verdansk 84 with Cold War. People were tired of it BACK THEN, and we got a slightly altered version for Cold War.
Caldera fucking sucked. We should have gotten Al Maz and Urzikstan (Post updates) rotating with Verdansk and get Avalon next. I cannot fathom how people are so braindead to play rebirth for nearly 5 years, and I can’t imagine myself playing Verdansk for ANOTHER year. The map had flaws then and it has the same flaws (and new ones!) now.
The only people that will disagree are; the people who haven’t played on the map before. The ‘casuals’ who play BR casuals, and the people who just snipe atop the rooftops all game and thus don’t actually engage in the video game enough to see the issues the map has.

Map is good. It just needs seasonal updates like if it’s Christmas I want real snow with Christmas related Easter eggs, buildings decorated in and out. Also with each seasonal update, we need temporary poi changes with new locations exclusive to that season. There’s a lot of good that can be done with verdansk but instead we get no good content besides recycled events and guns. Making map changes constantly will keep the map fresh and make it more exciting to play. Imagine real time events where a rare chance of krampus spawning mid match to chase the top fragger 😂.
