That’s assuming we can trust what the other driver said.
So I cut her some slack on that. Sure she simply could have said “I want you to race but eventually kill a guy”. She’s a bartender at a merc bar, just about everyone there would have done it for a free drink.
But grief makes you do stupid things.

Like Goro would snap ur neck and put you in a compactor if it meant Hanako would creak a smile.
Claire uses you for misguided revenge. If you do the mission “right” she comes around and won’t treat you any different. She admits what she did was pointless, she chooses to have her “Night City moment” and suffers the weight of it on her conscious – obviously.
But y’all don’t care about that and suddenly become personality assessment experts every time she’s mentioned lmao
Claire is fine, and wtf CDPR for not even letting me use her in photo mode? I can hang out with Kurt Hansen and President Myers, every member of Us Cracks individually – but not my favorite bartender who 100% named a drink after me at the end of the game? Hell nah.

If she was a romance, I would’ve chosen her over Judy and Panam. A shame, but understandable.
Still, maybe she might make a return as an option in Orion. That’d be cool.
